With a drastic reduction of noise, by a factor reaching orders of magnitudes for certain applications, the performance of Nüvü’s imaging solutions cannot be matched in situations requiring fast exposure times in environments bearing little light.

When we try to see in a very obscure area, where the naked eye can no longer see, the challenge is that we are limited by the capacity of the camera to pick up any particle of light, called photon. In dark conditions, each photon becomes important for reliable imaging. Each photon may identify cancer cells or space debris per example. When treating brain cancer, each cancer cell forgotten is a risk of cancer recurrence. Also less healthy tissues unnecessarily removed means a lesser impact on patient faculties. In space, the smallest space debris, at high speed, can harm a satellite or a spacecraft.
