2015 World Congress of Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics

Nüvü Camēras attended the 2015 World Congress of Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics at the L.A. Convention Center in March. Yoann Gosselin presented an improved neurosurgical microscope used in the removal of cancerous brain cells integrating an HNü camera.

TEDX Pôle Maisonneuve Conference

Olivier Daigle participated to the first TEDx Pôle Maisonneuve conference held Monday, Nov. 24 at the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium. Nüvü Camēras’ CTO has shared his innovative contribution to the photon detection race, helping to uncover new secrets carried by light particles, whether they come from outer space or biological sources, and how to extend Nüvü products availability worldwide. FRQS 50th Anniversary

Québec’s Chief Scientist Rémi Quirion invited Olivier Daigle, CTO and co-founder of Nüvü Camēras, to present the advances in medical imaging based on space astronomy technologies at the Recherche intersectorielle : de l’infiniment grand à l’infiniment petit pour la santé de demain symposium. This event, to be held at the Montreal Science Centre on September 17, is part of the celebrations surrounding the 50th anniversary of the Fonds de recherche du Québec in Health (FRQS).

ISU Space Study Program: AMOOS Project

July 15th 2014

René Jr. Landry, professor in Electric Engineering at l’École de technologie supérieure in Montréal, convened Nüvü Camēras’ CTO Olivier Daigle to attend and contribute to the AMOOS team project as part of the 27th International Space University Space Studies Program, held in Montréal from June 9th to August 8th. AMOOS, which stands for Autonomous Mission for On-Orbit Servicing, is a space debris reduction/removal project, and the attendance will also participate to a complete virtual mission to verify its viability.
