The state-of-the-art EMCCD camera manufacturer Nüvü Camēras is moving its facilities to the INGO Innovation Centre to accelerate its growth. Nüvü™ is one of the first companies to successfully take off from the high-tech J.-Armand Bombardier Incubator, a joint initiative of the University of Montreal and Polytechnique Montréal.
Today, propelled by its success, Nüvü™’s team will join the stimulating technological ecosystem that is the Quartier de l’innovation in Montreal. Marie-Eve Ducharme, President and CEO of the company, explains: « High tech is a demanding and constantly evolving market. With its new facilities, Nüvü Camēras will increase both its production capacity, to honour an internationally growing demand for its products, and innovation capacity, to maintain its position as the ultimate provider of precision imaging solution for the observation of nearly complete darkness scenes. »
With its open innovation culture, Nüvü Camēras chose the École de technologie supérieure as its neighbour to enrich its research and development partnerships. Moreover, the company is continuously recruiting. The proximity to Montreal’s downtown and business district is another driving factor that convinced the high-tech company to settle in the LEED-certified building located at 355 Peel Street.
