Nüvü Camēras participated to ASTRO19 organized by the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute. On June 17, Nüvü’s CTO presented how the EMCCD technology increased its level of technological readiness level (TRL) to be mission space ready and on June 18, the last “WFIRST Coronagraph EMCCD flight cameras development”.
Nüvü Camēras is introducing its last innovations for adaptive optics at AO4ELT6 at the Quebec City Convention Center. The 3k FPS HNü EMCCD camera answers the high requirements of adaptive optics applications.

Nüvü Camēras’ CTO, Olivier Daigle, presented “The use of EMCCDs as silicon-based photon counting devices” at the last Workshop of Information Optics which took place at the Centre des congrès de Québec.
René Jr. Landry, professor in Electric Engineering at l’École de technologie supérieure in Montréal, convened Nüvü Camēras’ CTO Olivier Daigle to attend and contribute to the AMOOS team project as part of the 27th International Space University Space Studies Program, held in Montréal from June 9th to August 8th. AMOOS, which stands for Autonomous Mission for On-Orbit Servicing, is a space debris reduction/removal project, and the attendance will also participate to a complete virtual mission to verify its viability.
Nüvü Camēras attended the 2012 edition of the Montreal Light Microscopy Course held at McGill University. Uniting graduate students, university professors, researchers and company representatives from the biomedical field, this course is widely regarded as a great success and enriching experience in learning about the wide spectrum of microscopy techniques in biomedical research.
A presentation was given by Nüvü Camēras to course attendees as part of a Lunch-N-Learn period entitled “EMCCD Cameras: Pushing the Limits of Low Light Biomedical Imaging”. The talk included an overview of modern digital imaging devices used in biomedical research and focused on the uses of EMCCD cameras for such applications.
Several workshops were held to promote the applications, advantages and benefits of the EM N2 in biomedical research.
